So, the reason the snake might have been visiting…we have more baby chicks :-).

 

Michael’s sister brought them over a couple of weeks ago when they visited, and we fostered them under one of the broody Wyandottes – she is a great mummy!

And Michael has built them their own part of the chook run – see this new internal door and wired wall?

And a new little chook house:

They have settled in very well.  Here’s hoping we have more luck than the previous 6 out of 6 rooster chicks!!
